Surveillance Cloud

SmartVision + Cloud Video Surveillance gives you:
  • a local video archive with no limits on gigabytes;
  • a cloud that records only important events;
  • AI-powered analytics for both video and audio;
  • access to your cameras from anywhere in the world.
No dedicated IP addresses, no complex router configuration, and no need to rent expensive “cloud video servers.”

Local Archive “Like Before”,
Cloud “Like It Should Be Today”

SmartVision combined with the cloud service is a versatile, efficient, and cost-effective alternative to traditional services and classic cloud VMS platforms. Local archiving without “gigabyte limits from the provider,” on-site video analytics without extra fees, smart AI-powered storage, and event-based cloud recording together solve the key problems of legacy systems. This way, you get a local archive that works as reliably as before and a cloud that finally works the way it should today – a modern solution for real-world video surveillance tasks.

Video Surveillance Cloud

SmartVision is a multifunctional video surveillance software solution for Windows, designed to deliver high stability and efficiency for security systems. It supports ONVIF and automatically discovers most IP cameras, provides continuous high-resolution video recording, and minimizes CPU load by leveraging GPU acceleration. Key features include intelligent motion detection, face and license plate recognition, smoke and fire detection, object detection, and secure remote access to IP cameras.
Local Control, Cloud Flexibility

SmartVision lets you build a local video archive on a regular PC or server. Storage is limited only by how many drives you plug in, not by a provider’s pricing plan.

On-Premises Video Analytics

All analytics run locally: no unnecessary data is sent to the cloud, and you keep full control over what is processed and where. This boosts both security and efficiency, letting you store and process sensitive data on your side.

AI-powered storage efficiency

SmartVision uses computer vision and machine learning for object detection, face recognition, and filtering out “empty” frames. It reduces FPS when there is no motion, avoids wasting space on identical footage of empty rooms, and helps you focus on real events instead of endless background.

The same logic works for the cloud, where every gigabyte costs money — all over secure channels, with no open ports exposed to the entire internet.
Problems with Traditional Cloud Systems and How SmartVision Solves Them

Most “classic” cloud video services just stream everything to the cloud 24/7. Convenient on paper, painful on the bill and not always reliable in real life. That usually means:
  • data loss when your internet drops: lost connection means holes in your archive;
  • a flood of false alerts and noisy push notifications that someone has to clean up manually;
  • high per-camera costs, especially when you scale to dozens or hundreds of streams;
  • strict limits on video retention because cloud storage is expensive;
  • extra headaches around privacy and compliance when footage with people lives in third-party data centers.
SmartVision plays this game differently:
  • the cloud records by events instead of a constant firehose;
  • the local archive keeps recording even when your internet is slow or unstable;
  • only meaningful fragments go to the cloud, not thousands of empty frames.
This cuts bandwidth, lowers storage costs, and keeps the footage you actually care about. The result is a hybrid model: local AI for speed, reliability, and privacy plus cloud AI for scalability and deep analytics, while automatically dialing down frames per second when there’s no motion.
Event-based cloud recording

SmartVision offers integration with Cloud Video Surveillance for users who choose the premium version. Cloud recording is triggered by events, which means video is uploaded only when a specific event occurs (object detection, face recognition, license plate detection, smoke, sound, perimeter intrusion, etc.), reducing the need to store unnecessary data. The archive contains short, meaningful clips instead of endless background.

Live streaming from IP cameras

Live viewing of connected IP cameras is also available, giving users real-time information. You can immediately assess what’s happening on site. This is convenient for both home and business: you always see a live feed without paying to store weeks of empty, useless footage.

How does recording to the video archive work?

With the SmartVision software, you decide exactly how the video will be recorded.
Three main modes are supported:
  • Continuous recording in high quality with your choice of optimal FPS.
  • Time-lapse recording: fewer frames per second means less storage used. Physics proven over decades.
  • Smart event-based recording: the system saves only what actually contains activity.
The video archive is stored locally (on a computer or NVR) and, if needed, can be uploaded to the cloud over a secure protocol. You can enable or disable cloud upload at any time, without any configuration “rituals.” AI-powered processing skips static, unchanging frames, so your archive doesn’t turn into a digital warehouse of nothing. You save space both locally and in the cloud without losing important footage.

Can I watch live video from IP cameras online?
Yes. Live viewing is supported. An important detail: the stream starts only at the moment of viewing. No viewers means no traffic. This reduces the load on the network and preserves bandwidth, especially when you have multiple cameras.
What does the subscription cost depend on?

The plan is formed in a transparent, logical way:
  • the amount of cloud storage used;
  • the number of cameras available for online viewing.
No hidden “magic coefficients” – just real resources.

How much disk space do I need for the archive?
Archive size depends not on megapixels, but on how often events occur. For apartments, houses, offices, and parking lots when the owners are away, the archive can be minimal or hardly grow at all. If a camera is looking at a busy area or a road where something is happening all the time, continuous recording makes more sense. SmartVision is especially effective where events matter more than 24/7 recording of “nothing happening.”

Do I need a computer?
Yes. At this stage, SmartVision needs to be installed on a computer. In the future, we plan to adapt our software for direct installation on IP cameras.
